Discover Different Ways to Peel and Enjoy Your Kiwi

Here's a brief list of methods for peeling a kiwi that will be very useful

“Are you ready to enjoy a delicious kiwi and explore new ways to prepare it in the kitchen? Here’s a brief list of methods for peeling a kiwi that will be very useful:

  1. The Classic with a Sharp Knife: The first, and probably the most common, is peeling the kiwi using a sharp knife. Make sure the knife is well-sharpened to prevent the skin from dragging and tearing the pulp. You can start peeling from any point, but we recommend first removing the two “caps” of the kiwi and then proceeding with the central part. This way, you’ll avoid veering off course when you reach the tougher stem area.

  2. With a Spoon: The second method is a favorite among the little ones, as once you cut the kiwi in half, it becomes a straightforward process for everyone. It involves separating the flesh from the skin using a spoon. If you bring the spoon close to the edge of the kiwi, you can scoop out the entire interior, and it will be ready to eat!

  3. Cooking Method: The third method is more complex and less common but can be useful when you plan to cook kiwis in some way. Start by placing the kiwis in a pot of water and bring them to a boil. After a few minutes, remove them, and you’ll see how the skin easily peels away. You can use a knife as shown in the image or even your hands to peel them.

And Another Way… Don’t Peel It! Keep in mind that kiwi skin has health benefits, and not peeling it is also an excellent way to consume it. 😉

Now that you know these different ways to peel a kiwi, you can choose the one you like the most or that best suits your recipe. Enjoy this delicious fruit! Which of these methods will you try first?”
